		<description>Sobering. I tried hard to imagine being in the same situation and what would I feel... However, Americans have more elastic job market than Europeans: it&#039;s not that easy to fire someone here, you need to give them 3 month notice (after having been 7 years with the company, at least). I am not sure whether it is bad or worse in general, but at least it saves you from this kind of experience of losing income overnight.

I realize that this means that Americans are far less likely to be found watching YouTube at work than Europeans, too.</description>
