Natural Killer *HF* - Prologue

What was that?

I thought I heard something.

The only colors I’ve seen in the last few months are black, red… and yellow.

Deep black – from one corner of this cell to another.

Blinking red - flashing from my neck collar.

And yellow - glowing, monsterous eyes, looking at me.

I approach them, without any fear.

“Who’s there?”

They grow as I get closer to them.

The red flashes again and I see the creature who posseses those eyes.

A shadow, among shadows. A savage beast.

A strange form of a man, with less fingers in his hands and a tail.

A freak.

Another red flash, and I continue walking towards him.

He does the same.

How can nature create this… thing? I would never understand.

I draw closer to the figure.

Ah, yes.

I forgot.

I’m him.

Those doctors and scientists installed this mirrors to make go insane.

Hate myself and the enviorment.

Well, I gotta hand it to you…

It’s working.

I hit the mirror in order to smash it.

It doesn’t smash, but something starts dripping on my leg.

Smells like blood.

I lick my hand.

Sure is blood.

What was that?

I thought I heard something.

Someone’s coming.

“Don’t open the door, don’t open the door, don’t open the door.” I whisper.

My collar is now coming into effect.

The electrical shock I receive everytime I want to use my teleportation powers.

The shock is overwhelming.

But I’m already used to it.

The door opens.

He appears in that white coat of his. His glasses reflect my yellow glow.

He smiles, that fuck.

“Well, 289, my little freak-show… Are you ready for your first mission?”

“You know where you can take your mission…”

Always the smartass.

“Brave, are we? Well, I know how you can be persuaded.”

He takes out the remote for the collar from his pocket.

“Haven’t you been waiting for this since you remember yourself? No? Well… I sure have…”

He pushes some buttons.

The pain… It vagues my mind.

I can’t even… Think.

The electricty passes through my entire body.

Unwanted muscels start working.

I throw my arms and tail all around.

I scream my vocale chords out.

“Have you changed your mind yet, my pet?”

Can’t move my jaws, so I nod.

“Good, now that’s a good mutie...”
